Will this Six Flags plan work?

I have a season pass for six flags in NJ but never got a coupon booklet. Since theres free tickets in there, do you think i can go in and get the booklet, then leave and give my friend the free ticket so she can get in? Will the ticket work for friday? (september 4th?)Will this Six Flags plan work?
It won't work on Sept. 4th since they don't have a "bring a friend free" coupon for Sept 4th (they are for select days)..the select days are listed on the website:

Sorry! - You should try to find some tickets on craigslist for the area - you can get them really cheap now since it's the end of the season and people are trying to get rid of their unused tickets.

Just make sure to get your hand stamped when you exit the park to give the ticket to her and have money to buy her ticket just to be safe in case some unforeseen scenario pops up. like them being out of the booklets that day or something along those lines.

Many of these bring a friend free coupons are valid only for select dates. These are coupons, not tickets. You will need to take them to a ticket booth, present them, along with yourself and your season pass, and then your friend will get her free ticket. Since the coupons are only valid for select days, there is no telling, unless you can find another Six Flags Great Adventure passholder to get more detailed information. The coupons vary from park to park.

There is a chance that you can go into the park, get coupon book, and then get your hand stamped, and then present your pass along with the coupon to get the ticket. Remember, though, that you can only use your season pass once per day, and remember that they do scan your pass upon entry to the park.

It sounds like this plan can work, but call the park and ask and verify; to avoid any disappointments on the day of your visit. Also check on the availability of the coupon books. There is also a slight chance that they may be out of the coupon books this time of year. Depending on how close you live to the park, you can head up there to get the coupon book, hit a few rides, and head home. Of course, if you live too far away, this would not be an option.

Call the park and ask about their policy and explain that that you have had a season pass all season but you never picked up the coupon book.
