... take you to a restaurant... a little upscale or nice.. or just an avg. restaurant like chills or tgi fridays, and pays with a coupon or uses a coupon.. ?

No, because everyone is aware about the economy, and if she doesn't understand, she's not the girl for you.
I may not be the right person to ask because I'm cheap. I hate spending money and if a guy uses a coupon I'd actually respect that. Also I think that if a girl wants to eat at a really fancy place all the time or has a problem with a coupon than you shouldn't date her. That's kind of shallow. A nice restaurant every now and again is fine but where you go shouldn't be that important...it should be about the company.Ladies what do you think of guys who...?
to begin with if the guy is paying the girl shouldn't be making a fuss over how the guy pays its understandable if you want to save some money by using coupons ..im sure their are girls like that but if they think that way about you or any other guy that's paying then just pay but dont see that girl again cuz she not worth it
It would make me think so much more of him and respect him more because that's exactly what I would do!! On the other hand, if he acted like he didn't have to use a coupon, but instead ran up a credit card balance that wasn't paid off in full every month, I would shun him!
Not on a first date. And if you're gonna do it on a second or third date, then it's cool to tell the girl in advance and ask her if she minds. Of course she'll say that it doesn't, but she'll appreciate your asking her. It's just classier that way.
