Help! What are my chances with her now?

Two days ago:



Me: Hey, did you see the movie Adjustment bureau?

Her: No

Me: Can I take you out to the movie this Friday then?

Her: This friday? No

Me: Oh ok *walks away*

Her: Wait was that a serious question?

Me: Yeah, I know I joke around with you a lot but yes. *walk away*



I always joke around with her all the time. I've asked her to Mcdonalds with dollar menu coupons SEVERAL times as a joke and she understands this. But she asked the question, "Wait was that a serious question?" and that threw me off.



ABOUT HER

She's quiet and hardly talks but she's talked to me a bit because I make fun of her. We laugh a lot together and make fun of each other, I feel really comfortable with her. She has that personality I like: not too obsessed with looks, no makeup, knows how to talk and make jokes, etc.



So it's been 2 days and we've been talking normally. Today we talked about her SAT this saturday no awkward anything between us. But I was hoping she would say she's changed her mind by now to the movie.



Should I ask again? I don't want to feel like I'm bothering her. It took every nerve in me to ask her out the first time.Help! What are my chances with her now?
Ok, but obviosuly she doesn't want you to joke around with her. Girls HATE it when guys take her as a joke, even if they're not, it seems that way by your question.



I think you should go ask her again, but tell her "come on its not a joke i really want to go with you to the movies". I mean the first time she probably felt awkard and she's probably thinking "i wish the clock could go back in time".. so this time make it real special and get a freaken serious look on ur face.

You are always joking to her that's why she ask you were you joking. Try not to joke too much on everything. If not she wont treat you seriously at times. She asked you again so as to assure that you are asking serious question. She walked away is because probably she is too shy. Like you said she is a quiet girl. That's why she walked away. You have to wait for another chance and while waiting, you must also make your self closer to her.

She was serious about that offer.. You should have pursued it in the first place. You walked away after that? man.. that's the wrong move..

You should defo ask her again, just say something like 'so are you up for the movie on Friday' or something like that. She probably said no because she thought u were joking or something. Just ask her

Yeah, I think you should ask her again. It sounds like it was just a mixed up situation. Sounds like you asked her a serious question but bc yo joke around with her soooo much she didn't take it serious and didn't want to say " yes " and it be another one of your jokes and you laugh at her and tell her you were kidding. Just say something like...." so I am still going to that movie if you want to come" or " I know you thought I was joking the other day.....but I really am going to the movie and wanted to know if you wanted to come along." The worse thing she will do is say no.....but I think for her to say " wait were you serious" then she will say yes!!! Update and let us know!!!!
