Okay my friend works at Sally Beauty Supply. She has been there 3 weeks. Since she is new she is not suppose to be left alone at the cash register. Friday she was left alone to run 2 cash registers. She mishandled the money and 1 register came up $90 short but she was able to find it in the other register. her manager reported the shortage but that it was found. later that day the manager had one of her friend go up to the store and use a coupon to see if she (my friend) would charge her correctly.. She misread the coupon it was buy 1 get one free. she did it correctly as far as the buy 1 on get 1 but she charged the wrong prduct. (less than what it should have been) so they accused her of giving away merch and stealing from the register.
This is the big part though. Thur she broke her tail bone. she went in to work on fri ran the registers and then she sat in there break area. Well they are accusing her of stealing $400 from the Dist. managers purse.I need some advise for a friend?...She got fired and they want to press charges on her...Read MOre%26gt;%26gt;?
If at the most they think she stole $400, they probably won't press charges, it would cost more than the $400. However, they will have her think otherwise. They'll probably threaten that so she can "pay" them back. She should just get another job and not use that job as a reference.
The confession would mean nothing because she was forced into signing it and second of all they aren't cops so it's pretty useless. What can she do? She could hire a PI to catch the manager or get a friend to start working there and be a spy. Other than that, I'm sure if she talked to the DM, it would be useless.
Your friend needs a lawyer.I need some advise for a friend?...She got fired and they want to press charges on her...Read MOre%26gt;%26gt;?
I would have to say that either your friend has the worst luck of anyone I have ever met or she steals. She needs a good therapist not a lawyer.
These are a lot of fishy coincidences---are you sure the friend is being truthful?
weird..she should get a lawyer.
She needs to get a lawyer, plain and simple.
