WHICH TOYS ARE YOUR CATS FAVORITES?

I'm trying to prepare for Petsmart's black Friday sale so I can get more for less!(: I've been trying to find which toys my cat might like best- and contacting the companies requesting coupons. So far all I've gotten is a $5/$25 petsmart coupon(available on their website when you log in) and hartz toy coupons. I've emailed kong and Nylabone without a response yet. What companies and/or specific cat toys or Christmas gifts do you recommend most? Thanks!!WHICH TOYS ARE YOUR CATS FAVORITES?
Call and talk to Kong by contacting their corporate office. I have called them in the past regarding collecting toy donations and/or coupons for rescued animals, and they sent a whole box of stuff! It was awesome! If you contact through web/email, nine times out of ten, you really won't get much (if anything) back. You have to call and talk to someone... plead your case! lol -



Also... I just got my cat a really cool fishing pole toy. It has a fleece string attached to a plastic pole, and 3 fish on the end of the fleece "string". I sprinkle down some cat nip and then whip out the fishing pole! Talk about a cat going crazy... I can laugh for hours while playing with him!! WANNA KNOW WHATS EVEN BETTER??? I got the fishing pole AND the cat nip at the Dollar Store! Cost me a whole $2 and change for both!

I would HIGHLY recommend going to your local Dollar Store or Dollar General (or something along those lines).

Mine tend to favour shoe laces rather than bought toys! I've often had more than one cat on one shoelace.



However, when they do play with other toys, one favours anything that rolls (colourful foam balls are a favourite) or moves (Hertz pull toys) and the other also likes rolling objects or a catnip mouse, but both go completely crazy over two small pink plastic toy mice which being weighted at the base and with an elliptical shape roll randomly.



Previous cats, fostered temporarily, have also loved catnip toys (any brand or shape - I have a selection!) and balls which they can chase around a room or up and down stairs.

Please remember if playing with balls with your cat that they should be supervised and all balls picked up in case of accidents, especially with youngsters in the house.WHICH TOYS ARE YOUR CATS FAVORITES?

Paper bag (perfect secret attack hideout for Maggie)

Feathers (Peanuts calling card. He leaves them in the food bowl to piss off the other two)

Empty boxes (if the cats fits, the cat sits)



Who needs store bought toys when random stuff around the house?



A final note, Maggie thoroughly enjoys sitting on my scale. Or anything else on the floor. It's fair game if it's down there.
My cats likes toys with catnip in them, but for the most part they don't really like store bought toys. They like the fastner from the top of the milk jug, nylon hair things, bits of string, rolled up balls of scratch paper, the darts from a nerf gun, just about any little thing that jumps around when they hit it with their paw. They have tons on store bought toys that they ignore haha, I stoped buying them.

My cat loves the skinneeez cat toys. She has a few and has torn them all up. She loves them. They also have catnip in them. ;]

Edit: She also LOVES toys with feathers. We have one of those sticks with feathers attached to the end of some string and she will play for hours with it.
My cats favorite thing in the world is a brown paper bag. Catnip has no affect on him. While he likes strings he also tends to eat them. I pulled one out of his gullet the other night that was two feet long. Sting toys are banned in my house.
My friends cat loves things with bells and feathers, and also long string-type thingies but he mostly likes feathers!
I have two cats.



My male enjoys anything that rolls ^-^



However, my tiny female won`t TOUCH any toy except the ones that have a ton of feathers attached.
Almost anything with catnip (:
My Manx Cat loves long grass from outside!
