Okay so I have just recently discovered that I have a 76% (C) in math. We had a math test on Wednesday and I got a F on that, so therefore my grade was lowered down. But my teacher gave out coupons so we can get a 100 on any paper of our choice. Grading period ends on Friday so I need help deciding on using it to raise the grade or just try to get as much done as possible. I at least need a 83% (B-) to make honor roll. If I used the coupon what would the final grade be? Thanks in advance, KlaireWhat were be a better decision?
Use the coupon to raise the math test grade. You have nothing to lose, and raising the lowest grade will do the most to improve your average.
Unfortunately, it is impossible to know what your new grade will be, since we don't know your other grades or how much those grades count toward your total score.
Raising a failing grade (the math test) to a 100 would probably lift your final grade to around a B
