I want to buy my son a ps3 for his birthday next week, I would wait till black friday but he lives with his mom across the state so I wanna get it for him while I can, Since there is a toys r us real close to me, thats where im gonna buy it from, they have a 120gb model for $230 if anyone could find me a coupon to cut the cost a little it would help a lot thanks :DToys R Us ps3 coupons anyone?
Stores are not allowed to make price cuts for the PS3. Sony does not permit it. Its the same case for Nintendo Wii and Microsoft Xbox. The only reason the 120 GB at Toys R Us is $230 is because its been discontinued and that was controlled by Sony, not Toys 'R Us. Anyway, this is why there are no price reducing coupons, nor will you ever find such coupons. The deals you will see will come in the form of discounted/free games or store gift cards.
If you want to buy a brand new console, you really have no choice but to pay retail. That's just how it is, unfortunately. Even worse is Sony has not struggled to sell PS3 at full price during the holidays in the past, providing even less of a need to make price discounts for customers like yourself.
