How much of a tip should I have left? TGI fridays?

we ordered 2 orders of nachos [which were free we had 2 coupons for any 2 free appetizers].. and 2 orders of fries, and kids meal. The bill came to %26amp;15.30......not including two free appetizers....how much of a tip should have left?

Is your tip supposed to be your actual BILL amount or what the bill should have been?? because if it was full price the bill should have been $32 ish, ThanksHow much of a tip should I have left? TGI fridays?
Your tip should always be based on the bill before any discounts are figured in.

As far as the actual percentage goes, well that's were everybody starts to disagree. standard tipping should be 10% to 15% of the bill, which would have been $3.20 - $4.80. In this situation I would say that since you got such a big discount you should have left a tip of $4.70 to $5.70, depending on the level service you received, which would be %15 to %18 that would have made your total cost $20 to $21.

People saying you should pay more than this, saying that servers make below minimum wage (that's only in some states) aren't figuring in the fact that you're not the only customer he/she had. With only an average of 5 customers an hour that's still an average of around $25 an hour in tips! I bet you make a heck of a lot less than that, I know I do.
everyone is different. but I go by what the bill should have been. tips tip the server and get further divided by their assistants/busboys, etc. for their work. regardless of whether or not you paid for the food, the servers still brought that free food to your table and had to clean it up and do the work. so they deserve the tip as if you did pay for the food. that's my logic. How much of a tip should I have left? Tip around 6$+ always tip on The before discount the company supples the coupon not the server still has to tip other teammates part of the before total. Sometimes they lose money if people tip on the after discount. Thanks for asking. I'm a waitress
15-20% of the actual bill, not the discounted bill since the waitperson should not be penalized that you got a discount.
You should tip on what the full price would have been, so 15-20% of $32 (about $5 - $6.50), depending on service and how much you like to tip.
Figure your tip on what the bill should have been. The coupon is from the owner, not the waiter.
$7- $8
If ur waihtah wuz a smart sistah about like 40 tre dolla bills. You know what i be sayin?
